ATAC Announcements Week 6 Sept 10-14, 2012

All Rifa League 7 aside soccer festivals for es/ms are cancelled today Sept 15th due to heavy overnight rains! ISSA League Volleyball games at Faith and CSA are also cancelled  Sept 15th!

Since the launch at the beginning of last school year the ATAC blog has to date received over 33,ooo visits and has provided valuable up to date information for ISM students/parents in a wide variety of ATAC program areas. We are constantly updating the blog to provide current information and in our quest to do so you will notice a twitter service now available.

Tweets from ISManilaAD will be posted for important information/updates related to the ATAC program. This service will be especially relevant to HS students/parents who are heavily involved in our program and who may travel frequently with school teams. If buses or flights are delayed or an event is cancelled a tweet can be posted to inform parents, if you are a regular IASAS host family this service may be of use as tweets will be posted if arriving teams have been delayed at the airport and pick up times are affected.  Another example might be a late cancellation of an event due to extreme weather. Use of twitter can help disseminate information quickly if you follow this service.

You can view tweets on the ATAC blog home page http://atac.ism-online.org/  and by subscribing to twitter and setting up an account you can follow ISManilaAD by clicking on the ‘follow me’ button at the blog home page and you can also get updates directly  to your cell phone to keep up with all the Bearcats action! During IASAS weeks score updates/results and medal performances will also be posted!

This coming weekend Sept 14-16 our Varsity Cross Country/Volleyball and Girls Soccer team will be traveling to Taipei for the Pre-IASAS exchange. We wish all players/coaches the very best for this important weekend of matches in preparation for the IASAS Championships in October. Schedules for the Soccer and Volleyball games are now available on the blog at the following link http://atac.ism-online.org/iasas/iasas-1st-season-schedules/
