What is the……BEARCAT DEN? The Bearcat Den located next to the HS Cafeteria serves the student and parent community of ISM by offering ISM/Bearcat merchandise for sale. All proceeds from the Den go back into supporting students’ activities and events related to the ATAC and IASAS programs in the areas of sports and cultural conventions at ISM.

Regular Opening Hours for the Bearcat Den:

Wed and Fridays from 11:30am – 1:00pm  and every afternoon of the week Mon-Fri 2:30pm – 4:00pm.

If you are interested in joining our group of volunteers in the Bearcat Den please contact our BCD volunteers coordinator Melanie Ball or pop in to the Den near the HS Cafeteria and talk with one of our volunteers they will be very happy to make you welcome. Who are the…. BEARCAT DEN VOLUNTEERS?

The den volunteers are a group of dedicated parents who give their time to keep the den open and operating smoothly throughout the school year. It is a fun group of people to be involved with and a great way to meet people if you are a new parent to the school. We are always looking for new members to add to the den volunteers list so if you are interested please contact the ATAC office or talk directly with one of the volunteers when the den is open.

What role do volunteers play and what school events does the BEARCAT DEN support?……

Bearcat volunteers attend a bi-monthly meeting to plan/review Den business

Bearcat den funds the purchase of IASAS travel shirts for participants and IASAS Varsity jackets along with restocking the variety of bearcat merchandise for purchase at the den.
Bearcat Den volunteers help out at special events eg:

  • when we host an IASAS tournament
  • operate a stall at International Family Fun Day.
  • sell merchandise at swim meets…etc
  • IASAS Send off lunches
