SPORTS AWARDS: ES/MS/HS awards celebrations are held after each season. Recognition for participation and special coaches awards eg; MVP and Most Improved etc are given at awards ceremonies.
Participation certificates are given to:
All High School Varsity/Junior Varsity (JV)/Aspirants participants who complete a full season in a sport and who meet the coaches’ criteria. Any participant in good standing, who does not complete the full season due to legitimate reasons (e.g. health/injury, early graduation, transfer to another school, etc.) will still be issued with a participation certificate.
MVP Awards:
Given to the athlete on each Varsity sports team whom the coach feels contributed the most to the team during the season taking into account attitude, attendance, skill and performance.
Coaches Choice Award:
Given to the athlete(s) on each Varsity sports team whom the coach feels contributed the most to the team during the season taking into account sportsmanship, dedication, character, and contribution to the team.
Special Recognition Award:
Awarded to the student(s) who have provided leadership and support, displayed qualities of an active role model and have done so within the framework of special achievement in the ISM Athletics and Activities program.
ATAC Achievement Award – Four Year Award:
This award is given to student(s) who participate in the same activity for four consecutive years.
IASAS Scholar:
Awarded to students who participate in at least two IASAS events in the same year and have an average GPA of 3.5 or better. As the 4th quarter grades are unavailable at the time of the awards ceremony, GPA is averaged over the first 3 quarters only.
Sportsmanship Award:
Decided by all head coaches at April coaches meeting.
Given to that boy and girl who exemplify the quality of sportsmanship during a sports season.
Outstanding Athlete Award:
Decided by all head coaches at April coaches meeting.
Given to the boy(s) and girl(s), in each grade level, who are considered to be an outstanding athlete, taking into account such attributes as skill, performance, attitude and leadership.

Athletic Directors Award:
Decided by ATAC Director in consultation with head coaches
Presented annually to that team(s) or individual who has achieved the most outstanding performance in a single year in an IASAS sport.
