Week 38 May 28-June 1st, 2018

This will be our penultimate post for this school year. Thanks to everyone for your contribution to our Bearcats athletics program during this year. We look forward to a great year of sport in SY 18-19 as we build toward our centennial year in 19-20!
Next year ISM will host the following exchanges, volleyball in September, Rugby in November and Softball in March. We will also host the IASAS Swimming Championships at the end of January 2019. An exciting year ahead for all our Bearcats!
 
ISM Saturday community tennis has now concluded and will resume in September 2018. Fliers will be posted on school notice boards and on the ATAC blog with dates for the 2018-19 community tennis program once the new school year begins.​
 
Please note *All ATAC after school training sessions will conclude this Friday June 1st. There will not be any after school training sessions or ES/MS Activities in the very last week of the school year June 4 to 7!
 
If you are interested in the ATAC summer sports camps please register ASAP. Places are filling up fast. See camp details at the register link above to sign up. Deadline to sign up is June 1st.
 
Practice schedules are posted on ATAC blog schedules page and on divisional notice boards at school for S4 sports. S4 sports are developmental/skill based to help prepare especially S1 teams for the start of the new school sports year.

S4 sports for MS- (April 16 to end of May) Baseball Mon/Wed and Softball Tues/Thurs at the HS field. Programs end this Friday. No training in the last week of school

For our year round teams… practice schedules are posted on notice boards around the school and on the schedules page of the ATAC (Athletics) blog and provided in the ink below. Year round sports programs will also conclude on June 1st. No training in the last week of school

Upcoming Events:*matches at ISM unless specified as *away venue. Check ATAC game schedule at the parent portal for all the midweek and weekend matches upcoming. Please check on a regular basis as venues and time do change at short notice. Players will always be informed by their coaches if times/venues change.

Aug 6-9 HS S1 Tryouts (Soccer/Volleyball/XCountry)

Aug 8-10 MS S1 Tryouts(Soccer/Volleyball/XCountry)

Aug 8-10 ES Rifa soccer tryouts Grade 1-4 boys and Grade 3&4 girls.

*Note any Grade 8 MS girl or boy born 2004 is too old to play in the MS Rifa soccer teams.  Grade 8’s born 04 must tryout for HS boys Aspirants and JV Girls Soccer teams in August 2018!

Please note the practice times for ATAC programs for SY 17-18 are as follows:
  • All year round team team training sessions are – 3:15-4:30. See schedule for our All year round teams program here
  • See Sailfish blog for swim squad start and finish times after the tryouts period has concluded and squads have been finalised.
  • Gymnastics team training is  3:10-4:50pm every M,W,F
All HS seasonal teams practice from 3:05- 4:50pm.
MS seasonal teams practice 3:15-4:40pm.
In order to clear the campus prior to 5pm all after school programs will conclude by 4:50pm or earlier. The last bus is 4:55pm  this is due to the ever increasing traffic concerns in our area.
