IASAS Week 22, Jan 29-Feb 2, 2018

IASAS week is here! ISM hosts Tennis Feb 1-3 and then in season 3 we host IASAS Track&Field/Golf April 12-14. I am pleased to say all the housing for tennis is now complete, thanks to all who have agreed to house and information letters have been sent out via email this week with guest/tournament information. Thank you in advance to all out host families your support is essential for our student athletes to have a wonderful IASAS experience.

A big weekend for ISM teams with some great results. Well done to all our athletes and hardworking coaches.
u/13 and u/15 boys rugby won local league finals out at Faith and the u/17 boys placed 2nd.
Varsity and JV boys both won the Faith Hardeman tournament on Saturday and our Varsity girls and JV girls placed 2nd.
Congrats to our  ISM  IASAS chess team who took the Gold medal for the first time at the IASAS online chess exchange on Saturday.
MS Boys/Girls basketball are both in the championship finals to be played this coming week exact times and venues are still to be decided.

IASAS Tennis begins 8:30am Thursday with some great tennis action up on the roof. Our tournament webpage is here for schedules/results/live streaming of selected matches.

Season 3 will begin Feb 5 through until mid April. Tryouts and practice schedules are now posted  on ATAC blog schedules page and on divisional notice boards at school. S3 sports for MS- Track&Field, Badminton and Mixed Touch. HS S3 sports are Baseball, Softball, Track&Field, Badminton and Golf.

For our year round teams practice schedules are posted on notice boards around the school and on the schedules page of the ATAC (Athletics) blog and provided in the ink below.

Upcoming Events:*matches at ISM unless specified as *away venue. Check ATAC game schedule at the parent portal for all the midweek and weekend matches upcoming. Please check on a regular basis as venues and time do change at short notice. Players will always be informed by their coaches if times/venues change.

Please note the practice times for ATAC programs for SY 17-18 are as follows:
  • All year round team team training sessions are – 3:15-4:30. See schedule for our All year round teams program here
  • See Sailfish blog for swim squad start and finish times after the tryouts period has concluded and squads have been finalised.
  • Gymnastics team training is  3:10-4:50pm every M,W,F
All HS seasonal teams practice from 3:05- 4:50pm.
MS seasonal teams practice 3:15-4:40pm.
In order to clear the campus prior to 5pm all after school programs will conclude by 4:50pm or earlier. The last bus is 4:55pm  this is due to the ever increasing traffic concerns in our area.
